The 2012 Texas Sunfish Racing Circuit is now published and available by download clicking here.
Six events total are scheduled with the first in April!
As a reminder, the U.S. Midwinter’s is on March 23-25 this year in Fort Myers, Florida. The NOR is available on the Sunfish Class website and charters are available by contacting andy@tackleshack.com – www.tackleshack.com. The cost of a charter boat is $428 tax included. The Charter includes of a Sunfish hull with hiking strap, ratchet, spars and dolly. Sailors must provide sail, all control lines, centerboard, rudder, tiller and extension. A rudder, tiller and centerboard are available for charter for an additional $100 plus tax for the event.
The current airfare prices are approximately $450 roundtrip. The drive is approximately 20 hours in length one way. Sailors considering attending this event are encouraged to contact circuit member Shaun Hoffmann for details regarding the possibility of sharing in travel costs for transport of boats to regatta by truck.
